FlyByWire (FBW) A32NX

It was one of the first projects in MSFS2020. as Freeware and has a long history of frequent updates and improvements from the original Asobo product. Join Jonathan Beckett in the enclosed 2 MSFS Videos .

The Development version -giving you the latest development status.

Be aware that the development version may still have some bugs. Having said that, as of November 2024 I can see sometimes 2 updates per days coming along. I highly recommend you open the installer prior to starting MSFS2020 to check if there is an update available.

FlyByWire (FBW) A380 – MFSF 2020 Videos

Long awaited and finally here, the open Alpha version of the A380 from FBW arrived. The Community had been waiting for it for a long time.

FBW released the A380 as an open Alpha version. So do expect some items not working yet, or the occasional bug.

I have done three flights – two without any problems – one where I nearly crashed due to some unexpected behaviour from the Autopilot. Nevertheless it is a fantastic aircraft and worth waiting for. It is freeware and exceeds levels of some Payware aircraft.

The A319 – A320 and A321 Airbus Family by Fenix – MSFS 2020 Videos

Fenix first released the A320 V1 in May 2022. Since then optimized -improved and updated it to release V2 in Sept. 2023. Much work has gone into the Aircraft since then with further updates.Join Easyjetsimpilot and Flightsimhelp.com in the MSFS2020 Videos to explain the A320 in further detail. the A319 in its functionality is the same. This also applies to the A321. Easyjetsimpilot has more MSFS 2020 Videos on his channel. they are highly recommended to watch. Also watch the Sharklet review. IniBuilds A310 – MSFS 2020 Videos

IniBuilds released their freeware Airbus A310 rendition part of the Microsoft Flight Simulator’s 40th Anniversary Edition. The aircraft can be downloaded free of charge through the in-game marketplace by searching for an A310. It requires the latest version of MSFS 2020.

The freeware A310 for MSFS comes with true-to-life system simulation, astounding details throughout the aircraft, 4K PBR textures. For the hardcore simmers who mean it seriously, the addon also features authentic sounds, flight dynamics of the aircraft, a fully functioning Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), and accurate engine performance

The Boeing Family B737-600-900 and B777-300ER

B737 Family: PMDG released their first Aircraft for MSFS 2020 with the B737 series. The 600/800 and 900 versions are available separately with a range of liveries. All aircraft come with the usual high level of details inside and outside. The FMC is updated either over the EFB or with Navigraph HUB (subscription required). two MSFS 2020 Videos for the B737-600 and 800 are linked here. The 700 and 900 are in their functionality identical.

B777 Family: The B777 followed the B737 with the B737-300ER and as of 8 December 2024 the cargo version. The two enclosed MSFS 2020 Videos are for the B777-300Er. The Cargo Version just differs in the Pax to Cargo Configuration. The YouTube Video contributors here will have a review available which you can follow up on

The Boeing MD11 TFDI (McDonald Douglas is now part of Boeing) And MD80 by Leonardo MADDOG

MD11 Pax Version & Cargo Version

TFDI released the MD11 for MSFS 2020 and P3D as well . Currently only the GE engines are implemented, PW is currently not available. Today it is mostly used as a Cargo plane by FedEx, UPS and Lufthansa just to name a few. It remains one of my favourite aircraft to fly, awhile a bit tricky at times and in its layout rather unusual in the Cockpit and Flap Configuration

MD88 Leonardo MADDOG

Already available in P3D and now in MSFS2020 the MADDOG is an Icon in the Sim Community. Close enough to a study level takes a bit to master. Fly the Maddog X features advanced, study level aircraft systems.

Both Aircraft are part of the MSFS 2020 package (depending which version you have). Nice aircraft to fly – in fact I did an Around World with the Longitude. Both feature Simbrief integration. Highly recommend them

Honda Jet Flight FX

A nice short distance jet if you keep below 2 hours flying time. Again offers Simbrief Integration. Fly full procedures and ILS approaches. an approach into KJAC in the Rockies is a fantastic venue.
